Crafted from premium 304 stainless steel in 1.5 and 2mm thicknesses, the KuierGat is also reinforced to prevent warping, electro-polished then passivated for effortless cleaning and lasting protection against corrosion and contaminants. At a solid 28 kg it’s no lightweight — but that robust build is exactly what ensures it will deliver a lifetime of memorable social occasions, whether on your stoep or around the campfire.

How it Works
At its core is a sophisticated dual-chamber combustion system:
The inner chamber houses the fire on a robust grate. Primary air is drawn from below through a precisely tuned inlet, regulated by the smooth-sliding ash drawer. During a braai, simply reduce or close the primary air to minimise fat-drip flare-ups and create the gentle smoking effect that perfectly flavours your meat (or vegetables in the upcoming Bokkos Pan).
The outer chamber channels secondary air, which is pre-heated as it rises along the hot walls. This superheated air is then injected at high velocity just below the integrated Venturi lip at the throat of the unit. The Venturi effect accelerates the rising inner gases, creating powerful draw that pulls the secondary air into the mix for complete secondary combustion.
The result? Exceptionally clean, tall flames with that signature slow, hypnotic “lick” that keeps everyone captivated. After the initial 5-minute lighting phase, the KuierGat delivers a virtually smokeless burn. Your guests can gather close all evening and head home smelling fresh — no smoky clothes or lingering odours.

Easy Portabililty
The KuierGat utilises a removable handle system:
It allows 2 persons to move the KuierGat while in operation with a burning fire.
It is used for opening and closing the drawer
And it is used to remove the fire grid for cleaning when it has cooled down.

The KuierGat is 465mm x 400mm and 500mm tall.
It weighs in at 28kg without braai or other accessories.

The braai system with the 2 grids fit inside the burn box with room for more of our future cooking accessories. We will have ripstop canvas carry bags for the KuierGat shortly. So it will tranport in the size you see it with all it’s accessories stored inside.
There is the added advantage that if the accessories are soiled they do not damage or soil any other luggage etc. All contained inside a strong bag.
